Saint Leonhard Horse Parade: A truly folkloristic event with ancient roots

This event will for sure make every horse lover's heart beat faster! The parade is organized by the Val Badia Horse Association and it is a great chance to see the local, traditional costumes worn by the inhabitants of the 5 different Ladin valleys.
The parade offers spectators a glimpse into past traditions and for those participating, it is a chance to show off their beautifully decorated turnouts as well as meet up with fellow enthusiasts.
Every valley has got particular decorations to their dresses and horses that distinguish them from their neighbours. The village bands of Corvara, Badia and La Val will entertain the onlookers with traditional tyrolean hymns while the gastronomic stand will be serving fresh and delightful Ladin specialties.
This parade is a great chance to migle with locals as the main touristic season is over and most of the people attending will be residents in a party mood.

 Val Badia Jazz Festival: Exclusive event for live music fans!!

Italian and international artists are to be seen live during the Alta Badia Jazz Festival, an event that has become more and more popular over the years.
Depending on the ensemble, the gigs will be held in restaurants, hotels, castles, cocktail bars and pubs around Alta Badia. It goes by itself that the result will be beyond assisting to a formal concert. The chosen venue will be the melting pot of those who have a passion fin common, great music!
The event is organized with big effort by Christian Pescosta in collaboration with the Uniun Musicala Y Culturala Ladina.
